You're doing your part to address climate change and renew your congregations, we're here to help.

We are stepping up to reduce the
United Church's Carbon Emissions
80% by 2050, in line with the
Paris Climate Target.

We have grants and tools to help you upgrade your buildings, lower your energy footprint, and save money. Here's how:

Churches across the country are stepping up to upgrade their buildings and lower their energy costs, attracting new followers and renewing their congregations along the way.
Read their stories, and access other climate and energy oriented resources here.

Our new program offers two kinds of grants: smaller grants for simpler do-it-yourself upgrades like energy efficient lighting, programmable thermostats and high efficiency hot water heaters, all the way up to $30,000 grants for solar panels, heat pumps, and more.

Tools & Support

We're here to make energy upgrades easier for you. We can offer tools for energy audits (required for our larger grants), quick fixes, and lists of trusted providers. We can even connect you with experienced engineers who can walk you through the process.
